Kiko joined Marks & Clerk in 2019 as a Japanese Client Support Executive. Her primary focus is client care, acting as a bridge between our Japanese clients and our global network of Marks & Clerk offices. By providing local support on the ground in the local language and time zone, Kiko is able to support us in providing the best possible service levels to our Japanese clients.
Prior to joining M&C, Kiko gained extensive experience in a number of Intellectual Property firms over a period of more than ten years. For much of this time, Kiko was based in law firms in the United States, where she served as a primary liaison for building and maintaining relationships with Japanese corporations.
Having spent long periods of time both in Japan and in the US, Kiko has a deep understanding of different business cultures and expectations. When combined with her IP and law firm experience, Kiko’s career has given her a unique set of skills. These skills enable her to form excellent business relationships both with her Marks & Clerk colleagues and our network of clients and friends across Japan, providing invaluable support in both directions.
Kiko has a very cheerful and friendly personality and loves spending time with people. She therefore particularly enjoys attending face-to-face meetings, networking and organising and attending events.
