Stephen joined Marks & Clerk in January 2021 as a Trainee Patent Attorney based in the Glasgow office. Before joining, he worked in the defence industry for over 11 years, developing, testing, and delivering complex surveillance and fire-control radar systems, working with clients in the UK, as well as across Europe and the US.
Stephen graduated with a first class Master’s degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh in 2009. His final year Masters project involved developing a low cost, mmWave radar based altitude and attitude sensing system for safely landing RAF chinook helicopters in brownout conditions.
