Veronica is a Registered Malaysian Trademark Agent. She holds an Honours Degree in Legal Studies and a Masters of Laws (LLM) in Intellectual Property Law from the MARA University of Technology (UiTM), Malaysia. Born and raised in Tamparuli, Sabah, she is fluent in English, Malay and Kadazan-Dusun. Immersing herself in the world of Intellectual Property since 2013, she has gained several years of experience at a number of well-established IP firms in Malaysia where she developed her expertise and knowledge in Intellectual Property, specifically in Patents, Industrial Designs, Trademarks and Geographical Indications (GI).

Veronica has worked extensively on matters relating to global trademark and design portfolio management and global brand protection, trademark clearance searches, trademark prosecutions and oppositions, and transactional IP work such as licensing and franchising. She regularly works with clients from a diverse range of sectors including automotive, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, consumer products, food and beverage, luxury products, fashion and retail. She is also well-versed with foreign filing procedures via the Madrid Protocol and Paris convention routes.
