Priya Krishnan is a Registered Malaysian Patent, Trademark and Industrial Design Agent. She is fluent in English, Malay and Tamil and has an Honours Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia, as well as an LLB from the University of London. 

She has been in the IP industry since 2008 and specialises in conducting patentability searches, drafting patent applications and prosecution of patent applications through to grant, working with institutions such as IIUM, MIMOS, UM, UPM, UTM, UKM and Petronas. Her experience includes subject matter such as microelectronics, semiconductors, cloud computing, internet of things, wireless technology, accelerative technology (GPU’s and FPGAs) and photonics.

She has also provided regulatory advice on registering and importing hazardous substances into Malaysia and deals with the relevant governmental agencies to facilitate the process. In addition she is a member of the Malaysian Intellectual Property Association (MIPA)
