Anna Morrish is an intellectual property lawyer based in the Marks & Clerk Toronto office and a member of the Litigation group. Her practice focuses on contentious intellectual property matters, particularly in the areas of trademarks, copyright and confidential information.
While in law school Anna was an active oral advocacy competitor. In her first year, Anna and her teammate placed third at the Canadian Client Consultation Competition in Edmonton. In her second year, Anna was a member of Osgoode's International Criminal Court team, which competed in The Hague and at which she received a personal speaking award. In her final year, Anna was lead counsel of Osgoode's Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot team, where her team placed second overall. Since graduation, Anna has kept a pulse on the mooting scene through coaching teams as they prepare for the Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot.
Before joining us in 2023, Anna worked in the Vancouver office of a global law firm. Prior to attending law school, Anna worked as a Registered Nurse in the neurological intensive care unit at a downtown Toronto hospital.
