On June 9, 2022, Canadian litigation partner Amrita V. Singh will be moderating the 15th annual Federal Courts Town Hall for the Canadian Bar Association. The Town Hall allows members of the Federal Courts’ Bench and the Canadian intellectual property Bar to engage in an open discussion of possible procedural reform. This year, the Town Hall will cover the precedential value of default judgment motions, the use of virtual hearings in a post-pandemic world, increasing the involvement of junior members of the Bar, and the importance of written advocacy.
