Thomas graduated from the University of St Andrews in 2020 with a first class Masters degree in Mathematics and Theoretical Physics. During his degree, he pursued a variety of topics of interest, from nuclear and particle physics, to solar theory, quantum mechanics, and mathematical biology. His dissertation involved the mathematical modelling of tumour growth in the body.
In 2021, Thomas joined Marks & Clerk LLP as a Trainee Patent Attorney and has since qualified as a European Patent Attorney. In this time he has worked for an array of clients, from single inventors to multinational corporations, and helped prosecute patents across a large range of subject areas.
