Wendell received his BSc(Hons) in Applied Chemistry and PhD in Bioinorganic Chemistry from City University of Hong Kong. His research project was focused on the development and utilization of phosphorescent inorganic complexes as cellular imaging reagents and probes for biomolecules. Wendell assists in a variety of patent matters, including chemical, biotechnological, pharmaceutical and mechanical inventions.
Before joining Marks & Clerk’s Hong Kong office in 2017, he worked as a Lead Chemist at the research division in Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials Asia Ltd (A Member of The DOW Chemical Company), where his research was primarily focused on electrolytes for electroless plating and electroplating.
Wendell is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
