Daniel is a Chartered (UK) and European Patent Attorney specialising in mechanical engineering, with a particular focus on energy technologies. His client base includes domestic and international clients, from individual inventors to multi-national corporations.
Daniel has experience of advising on a range of aspects of IP, including prosecution, portfolio management, due diligence and managing third party IP risks. Daniel regularly prosecutes patent applications before the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office and represents his clients before the Opposition Division and Appeal Boards of the European Patent Office. In addition to patents, Daniel advises clients with regard to registered and unregistered design protection.
Daniel joined Marks & Clerk in 2011 after achieving a first class Mechanical Engineering degree and Masters at the University of Cambridge. He qualified as a Patent Attorney in 2015.
