Daniel is a Singapore Registered Patent Attorney and Chartered (UK) Patent Attorney. He specialises in patents and registered designs, and works with multi-disciplinary clients in the areas of information technology, software, data storage, computer engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering and manufacturing services. Daniel has a significant local client base and handles work for individuals, SME, research and educational institutions and MNC. He has extensive local and foreign prosecution experience. 

Daniel graduated from the University of Birmingham (UK) with a degree in electronics and electrical engineering. He worked for a few years in the computer industry as an engineer before training with the Singapore office of Lloyd Wise in 2001, becoming a partner in 2007. Lloyd Wise merged with Marks & Clerk at the end of 2007.

Daniel has been recommended in the IAM Patent 1000 guides since 2014 and is listed as a ranked individual in recent guides. He has also been identified in the IAM Global Leaders Guide 2021. Daniel is also listed as an expert by Who’s Who Legal and was named as an IP Star in 2018, 2020 & 2021 by Managing Intellectual Property.
