Helen is a lawyer and registered Canadian Trademark Agent at Marks & Clerk who specializes in brand and trademark protection. Her practice focuses on trademark clearance and prosecution, opposition and cancellation proceedings and copyright law.

Prior to joining Marks & Clerk, Helen articled at a local intellectual property law firm where she gained valuable experience by supporting on trademark, copyright and the related litigation matters.

Helen obtained her LL.B. in China and took two Master of Laws degrees from Osgoode Hall Law School. She is familiar with both common law and civil law systems. Beyond that, she had over 6 years’ experience working as a trademark assistant at a highly ranked Canadian IP law firm.
