Dr. Who stuff
[edit]Hi Angmerging. See Commons:Derivative works for more details, but in a nutshell any "fan art" or images of copyrighted artworks (such as Daleks and the Tardis) aren't permitted on commons. They might be permitted on some local projects as "fair use images" due to the cultural signifigance of the show in Britain, but fair use isn't allowed on commons at all. --SB_Johnny|talk|books 15:37, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
- lol... they're not ok :). Yours just must have been tagged by someone (probably as a copyvio). I go through the cleanup categories once in a while and delete things: funny enough I actually only bother looking at the images that interest me (I was a big Dr Who fan when I was younger). A bit of a bittersweet hobby: look for nice pictures, enjoy them for a moment, and then delete them. I don't go hunting for images as a rule, I just clean out the deletion categories after other people do the tagging. --SB_Johnny|talk|books 00:11, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
